Do you take Team and Individual Pictures (T&I) in addition to action photography?
Yes. Although our action photographers are seen at many high profile events, we also do traditional pictures days for school teams, private clubs and park and recreation leagues, including soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, and many others.
How long will pictures be available for viewing and purchasing on the Web site?
Most events are published for a limited amount of time. Because of the huge volume of photos we have on-line we can only keep images on the site for six weeks after each event. Contact us if your event has been removed, orders may still be possible.
I want to order a photo from the web site, though my child is a little small in the photo. Can you zoom in on him?
Yes. All photos are cropped when they are printed, to maximize the subject in the frame. If there is more than one athlete in the photo, please let us know which one we should feature. You can let us know by filling in the comments section at the end of the ordering process.
When will I receive my order?
Most online orders ship within 5 business days of receipt of the order. (Note: Orders paid by check are not filled until the check is received.) If we photographed your child as part of a league/team and individual picture day, your order will usually be delivered within 2 weeks of the picture day.
Will you be shooting every game at my child's tournament?
Because of logistics, we can't shoot every player from every game, but every effort is made to make sure every team participating in the tournament is photographed at least once. This varies depending on the sport, event or tournament. In hockey, for instance, we shoot every team and every game, but in huge soccer tournaments we obtain a master schedule from tournament organizers and create our own shooting schedule to make sure as many different teams as possible are photographed.
Can we request that you specifically photograph my child?
Yes stop by the Filkins Foto Factory trailer (at an outdoor event) or the Filkins Fotos booth (at indoor events) and fill out a "Special Request Form." We will tell you when we'll be shooting your team, and you let us know your player's number and the uniform color of your team. Also, feel free to tap the photographer on the shoulder on your field, they will be in the blue Filkins Fotos shirt or jacket.
I am interested in calling directly about a picture and am unsure how to identify the picture number.
A few simple steps:
1. Identify the date and name of the event
2. Identify the specific game, heat, round . . .
3. Review Thumbnails
4. Select thumbnail you are interested in and enlarge it.
5. Write down the picture # to the right of the picture.
Are the photos available on-site to take home that day?
Yes. Every print under the size of 8x10 inches will be printed on-site. They are real Kodak photos. No ink-jets here.
Do you use ink-jet printers on-site?
No. We only use Professional Kodak photo printers on-site and provide real Kodak photos (not ink-jet) at the event for any image 8x10 or smaller.
Can you mix and match images in the photo packages?
Yes. If you order 3 4x6 prints, you can pick a different image for each print. We also offer discount packages on-site, where you can select several different images from the event.
Do we receive the personalized posters and personalized, full-color sports cards at the event?
No. The design time, customer proofing and printing details demand that they are created after the event. Our goal is to get these items to the customer within a week of "Okay" for the poster proof.
Do I get a chance to review a digital proof of the poster before it is printed?
Yes. We email a web-sized version of your personalized poster for you to review and change before we print and ship the final poster.
